Additional hydraulic description

The basic (geodetic) module, as its name implies, gathers basic, primarily geodetically-oriented data on the water supply system. The Additional Hydraulic Description module supplements this database with data which are, in addition to the basic data, necessary for hydraulic analysis (internal pipe profile for certain types of pipes, QH curve of pumps, directions of check valves, logic for pressure reduction,...). This module is a prerequisite for the functioning of the module “Export to Hydraulic Models”.

As with every PRoGIS independent module, the module can be installed into the user's information system in any workplace. Therefore, it is possible to install it in parallel on the workplace of the Geodetic module, Module for Hydraulic Export or on a third workplace that does not have these modules.
